The DID series motors have a hollow non-magnetic rotor. The phase shift of the control winding voltage relative to the excitation winding voltage, equal to 90°, is carried out using special circuits, regardless of the motor load. Two-phase induction motors DID-0.5 are designed for operation in reverse low-inertia drives of aviation automation. Designed for operation in the mode of increased stiffness.
